3 Weeks or more of unmatchable climbing in some of
the best terrain on earth. This is a combination of several OWA programs
combined into a logical progression that provides each participant with
an in-depth understanding of all the areas of modern climbing including
sport climbing, alpine skills, mountaineering, traditional climbing, high
altitude, backcountry skills and mountain rescue. Experienced OWA guides
work closely with participants to help each person gain the experience
and skills required to become a more responsible and knowledgeable climber.
Super Rock 1 begins with
either an introductory 11 days of rock climbing as part of Mt Bike/Rock
Camp 1 with a chance to build a base and toughen up the finger tips in
the Base Camp area or 11 days of alpine climbing as part of Alpine Skills
Camp. The finish is either Rock Trip or Advanced Rock Trip with great
sport climbing at some of the best locations in N America.
Super Rock 2 follows suit, beginning with our Colorado Alpine Skills Camp or Mt Bike/Rock Camp 1, followed by one of the Rock Trips and continuing through Advanced Rock Camp. This allows for more time to focus on the more technical nuances of climbing and is ideal for climbers with some previous experience.
