You'll have a terrific assortment of exciting activities to choose from at the Ranch. Spend the entire week riding both morning and afternoon. Or, go white water rafting, hiking, fishing, or sight-seeing. Maybe spend an afternoon just relaxing in our heated pool or on the porch swing of your cabin . Afterwords, soothe your muscles in our hot tub and enjoy your evenings by snuggling up with a good book or joining us for a campfire sing-along.
Our Western atmosphere combined with our friendly staff and home cooked meals will provide everlasting memories. And, since we limit the number of guests, we can assure everyone personal treatment and special attention.
| Accommodations: Choose from two single family cabins, one duplex
cabin (shared living room with fireplace) and four two bedroom suites,
each with a private bath. All our cabins and rooms reflect the western
atmosphere of years gone by, and are tastefully decorated with many antiques.
None are equipped with telephones or televisions. Instead, they all have
covered porches, so you can thoroughly escape, and enjoy the mountains
of Colorado. Daily housekeeping and guest laundry facilities are provided.
Dining: Family-style meals are served in the lodge dining room. All meals are home-cooked and our waitresses provide full service. BYOB. Activities: Enjoy the company of a good horse and the extraordinary
scenery while our wranglers provide thorough instruction. The all day rides
will take you deep into the wilderness, often climbing above timberline.
Overnight pack trips can be arranged. Each week we offer a variety of other
options such as fishing, hiking, white water rafting, and scenic day trips.
In the evening, join us for a campfire sing-along, a hay ride, or some
good old country dancing.
Children's Program: We cater to each family rather than having a set program for children. Children six years of age or over may ride a horse by themselves while on a trail ride. Younger ones will be led on ponies by the wranglers. None will be left out. We will, in most instances, be able to provide attention for the children day or night if the parents request. Children will also have special organized hikes, nature lessons, and other activities. Location: 60 miles northwest of Colorado Springs, 15 miles
north of Lake George on Park County Road 77.
