Wyoming Rock Trip: This was the format for our original rock climbing trip and we just can't improve upon it much! Limestone at Wild Iris, Sandstone at Sink's Canyon, granite cracks at Fremont Canyon and multi-pitch at Eldo-- what more can you ask for? (yes, we do know that Eldo is in Colorado- but we can hardly drive by Boulder and not stop to climb). this program is a road trip format with nights spent near the various crags and days out on the rock. Instruction is offered in sport climbing, trad, multi-pitch, and bouldering and includes specific instruction in anchors, basic leading, anchors and mulit-pitch. Team members should have some previous climbing experience and should be prepared to focus all their energy on what we think is some of the most thorough climbing instruction available for teenagers. OWA can provide all climbing gear including shoes. This instruction and climbing is geared to the level of the individuals within the group, so that each program is able to accommodate a range of skill and experience levels.
