Drew first attended OWA as a teenager and worked on the OWA staff for 6 years. He's a graduate of Cal-Berkeley with a degree in Resource Management. Drew has extensive rock and alpine experience and previously worked as a bike mechanic and raced as NORBA Expert. His personal experience includes plenty of winter climbing on California's Mt. Shasta and on several of the big peaks in Ecuador. He is married to Sr Guide Emeritus Laurie Duncan and they live in Austin.
