Josh began attending OWA programs as a teenager and has been guiding for OWA periodically since 1990. He has a BA from the University of Texas and has a Wilderness First Responder certification. He previously managed and guided in partnership with OWA at the Adventure Source in Breckenridge. Josh is an accomplished rock climber including a multitude of sport and trad routes all across the Western US and Mexico. He is also a solid mountain biker has in-depth backcountry experience. He and wife Allison have a son, Col and divide their time between Colorado and Austin.
