Madaleine first came to OWA as a participant during summer '99. A native of Rockville, MD-- Madaleine is an experienced climber and has worked at a climbing gym during the offseason. She attended Colorado College in Colorado Springs and completed her Guide Aspirant season during summer 2001. She was a member of the OWA Bolivia Expedition 2000 and is an AMGA certified Top Rope Site Manager. She predominantly works with OWA climbing programs. Madaleine has several difficult and impressive ascents in Zion and Yosemite inclucing the first all female ascent of Moonlight Buttress in Zion Grade V 5.12+ and Regular North West Face of Half Dome Grade V 5.12+
