Texas State University student, Robert Shields, is completed working on his final internship with Outpost Wilderness Adventure in Fall 2008. Growing up in the Texas Hill Country, Robert developed his outdoor enthusiasm by biking, climbing, hiking, camping, paddling, and caving any time the possibility arose. Throughout his college career, he has made a hobby out of introducing others to many opportunities the great outdoors has to offer. Recently, most of his free time has been dedicated to offering introductory climbing, paddling, and camping trips to eager participants looking enhance their lives with outdoor recreational activities. After he graduates this December with a Bachelor of Science in Recreational Administration, he is determined to continue educating others about the outdoors.
