Tarryall Fly Fishing camp in Colorado and Backcountry Fishing in Wyoming -- The Tarryall Fly Fishing Camp June 20-27, 2010 is truly a fly fisherman's dream trip.  Time is spent fishing on the Tarryall River as well as the renowned South Platte and other local waters. We meet team members at the Denver airport and all the nights except for the backpacking night are spent at the OWA basecamp, team members will be in 4 person yurts or the bunkhouse. This is an instructional program geared for all levels-- suitable for anyone interested in truly delving into the sport or fine-tuning their skills.  Instruction is offered in proper casting and fly placement,entomology and hatch assessment, fly tying, river morphology and riparian ecosytems.  Team members also have the opportunity to build their own high quality fly rod from blanks-- resulting in a treasure they're sure to enjoy for years to come. The team will spend one night backpacking into Lost Creek Wilderness to take advantage of the small streams there with loads of brook trout. Group size is limited to 9 with at least 2 fishing guide/instructors. The programs can be combined to create a two week experience and enjoy some of the other activities OWA offers.  The program is under the direction of longtime OWA and professional fishing guides, Dale Hentzell and Lewis Stahl This will be Lewis 9th year leading this program. As with all OWA trips one of the lead guides (Dale Hentzell for 2010) is a certified Wilderness First Responder an 80 hour emergency medical course for backcountry guides.
